Ok here is my situation. The brakes in my 97 Lude feel great arround town and i can stop on a dime
But on my way to work i go down a Hill that is pretty steep with corners... About half way down they faid and "thump". So i end up riding gears down the hill. I would rather ride the brakes they are much cheaper than a new engine
No last spring i blead the front brakes out and put in a higher Temp brake fluid. I don't imanage that i have bad fluid or air in there. The only thing that i think of is the rotors are Warped? But they are Fine arround town and durring spirited driving?

If your rotors were warped U would feal them pusling. I would take out your pads and look at them. Sometimes a chunk or 2 can come off, leaving you with only 1/2 the normal breaking surface. This might be the case. also blead the brakes one more time just to make sure your don't have any air in the lines.
Does the car shake at all when braking? Also you might have some buildup on the rotors. Try braking hard a few times before starting the hill and see if it fades less. Also check the pads to make sure they are fine as sugested above.
i know kinda what hes talking about cause mine does it too.... driving around normally they are f-in awesome and whatnot, they dont shake at all and have great pedal feel and stopping power. But when im stopping from a high speed or on them for a while.. they seem to get warped? the car shakes and the stopping power fades. but then when i get off them and drive for a while they get smooth again. like they cool down and go back to normal shape or something. really wierd.. never been in another car that did the same thing?

Yea it really hard to diagnose... i stoped over at Part America and they wanted $77 per rotor!! WOW so i went across the street to Autozone and they are $25!!! hey i don't really care if they are as high quality they are $25!! I can buy 3 of them before i buy the Parts america rotors!
That leaves more $$ for pads and stuff
