Default boosted h22a4

how many pounds of boost would be good for a daily driven prelude that i want to last for awhile?

dont go off of psi, instead go off of hp and what your tuner says is a good stopping point based off the tune.

too many variables to be considered motor health, type of turbo used trim etc etc

i have blown 2 stock h22 motors 1 off of 7 psi 1 off 10 psi both were result of ringlands

Sounds like you need to learn more about forced induction or get a better tuner.

after blowing the 1st one did u do anything different one the 2nd? why did u think doing it twice was a good idea? just curious

the first one was tuned by inlinepro and i thought they did a good job the car drove excellent, but i decided to try it again with a differnet tuner

the second was tuned for 7 by brauning motorsports and i had it like that for 5 months no probs and decided to go up to 10 and it lasted maybe 2 months before it started to smoke both motors were still driveable but did not have much power
and yes i finally built my h22 very expensive cuz h's have to be sleeved

so who tuned it when you went to 10lbs? or did you just turn up the boost???

and you’ll still burn oil after you build it lol just not as bad or noticeably out of the exhaust . Just on the dip stick
