Battery Relocation Summit
I have the summit battery relocation kit, how do use run the power wire to the starter and fuse box because it doesnt come with a distribution box ?
i think they want you to run the wire straight to the starter, then run a little one from there to the fusebox
or you can do like i did, and get an ebay distribution block....those kits are crap, i made my own..

i simply kept the starter and fusebox wires bolted together, than ran a 4 gauge from the trunk, put a ring terminal on the end, then sandwhiched that between the other to on the bolt.

I ran 4 gauge directly from the alternator to the positive side of the battery. I also had a 100 amp circuit breaker in between the alternator and the battery located under the hood near the fuse box. There was also a 4 gauge coming back from the battery to the fuse box under the hood.It was also run through a separate 100 amp breaker. The reason I used 2 cables is because the distance from the trunk to the fuse box may be too long for 6 or 8 gauge, and you want to be sure you have a strong charge coming from the alternator as well as going back to all the cars electrical circuits from the battery. Connect the starter wire to one side of your fuse or circuit breaker and the other side if the fuse or breaker to the 4 gauge going to the batt. Ground the battery to one of the 10mm bolts that are located under you back seat. Make SURE YOU USE FUSES OR CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR THIS!!!! Sorry I do not have pictures of this but it was done to a car I no longer have.
