Well over 400whp at 10psi? What setup are you running? And, yes, your axles will be fine, you could go with something like quaife but stockers are fine.

Quaife is a diff, not an axle.

I think I might be misreading what you wrote though.

yea sorry, wasn't real clear, if you get a diff, you will be able to handle the power much better and not put too much strain on one axle vs. the other.

That's better

Not to mention, one wheel burnouts look silly, especially on FWD.

Didn't that movie teach you anything? He's running a spoon motor for sure

Remember how when you first got your car, you thought you were going to run 35psi on pump gas, and it was going to make a billion hp and run like 5s on the quarter.

Or maybe that was just me

lol ya you better have the most rediculous tuning to run over 400 to the wheels at 10 pounds of boost. Good luck though dude, let me know when you achieve the impossible. (Almost)

I am running a 98 prelude supercharged with 10 psi and it literally eats axles(approx 320 whp). But I also have a lot more power/torque in the low rpms, I'm assuming that a turbo set up would be much easier on the axles than mine. I just started to look at aftermarket axles and I'm not liking the $700 price tag I just saw from drive shaft shop! Anyone know of high hp axles for closer to $500?

Yeah, but wouldn't it be better to pay the $700 once and not worry about it, rather than pay $500 twice when you have to replace them?

My buddy is the same way with his integra --> spend like $350 every year 'cause he toasts his axles and can't see the advantage of actually buying good ones.

Yeah I will definetly buy something nice.. I just wasn't sure if there were any other companies that made nice axles in that price range. The only ones I have found are fidanza and they are about $500 and rated to 300 whp, kind of borderline on the rating, has anyone had experience with these?

Most likely I will use the drive shaft shop stage 2, it will just make my utilize my BAP liftetime axle warranty one more time before I drop another $700!!!

Don't know their prices, but I've heard they are decent. BTW, you have a supercharger (lot of $ for HP gained) and an extra $300 for axles is an issue? Something about that just seemed kinda funny to me.

Never said it was an issue.. Just have to budget my money properly. You know I do have to pay bills and keep my race car running.

Plus if there are axles in the $500 price range that I don't know about that are good wouldn't it be smart to find out? Isn't that the point of a forum to talk to people and exchange knoledge?
