Default B18C5.... slammed... sick of going through axles..

Ok maybe its just me, but I doubt it. I go through a set of axles (Autozone reman) about once every six months. Its starting to get really annoying. Anyone recommend some aftermarket axles that are stronger and last longer than these?

I've heard good things about these... can you recommend a place online that sells them?

the reason you do is due to them being remanufactured.. i would suggest raxle. or gator. which both use brand new parts.

Thats what I figured... didn't want to buy some 600$ set of axles and have to replace them in 6 months you know?

Anyone recommend a place to buy a set of these?

http://raxles.com/ found them.. their cheaper than gator. and all brand new joints, and come preoiled just slap them on.. also they need your cores just put them in the box and ship it.. its prepaid shipping if i remember correctly. but call them and get more detail.

never had a problem with their axles, and the boots are nice and flexible and thick so i dont see them ripping...

i have them on my other car for 1 year slammed 3" and no rips.

Man autozone sucks when it comes to there axles. I bought some recently and I guess when they rebuilt one of them, they put the wrong end on it because the one end wouldnt fit through the hub on my car. But the part #s were correct.

Are you breaking them for being over-powered or because you're slammed to the ground? Are the Raxles and Gator ones ONLY made for horsepower or are they both for horsepower AND driveline angles?

I can't speak for Gator, but Raxles are OEM build, with better parts. They hold up very well, I have been using them for a few years now (the same set ).

raise your car up... then you won't have axle problems... being slammed and tucked for daily driving isn't all that..

Yea, I thought that with my old DA... but after taking them back 3 times in 5 months (the car was laid out). They told me that they wouldn't warranty it anymore without manager's approval. Because if you read on the receipt... it says LIMITED lifetime warranty
