Default Automatic performance

Does anyone have an automatic H22 car with 1/8 and/or 1/4 mile times? I want a comparison between a stick and auto.

i have a h22a1 with auto tranny, but i havent took it on the track, hopefully this march first, theres a test and tune on the track and i want to get the times for it.the thing having auto tranny is (for my experience driving it) it has a strong pull on 2nd gear and third gear. i beat bmw's most of the times.. the best one i had was a m3.. i was lucky. do u have a h22 auto tranny too?

I thought there weren't any autos in the h22a1 4th gen Preludes? I know the 5th gen came in autos, but not the 4th gens? Am I wrong here?

no, my friends srt-4 acr is fast, specially now with the water injection. he got 20gturbo,port fueller, msd, most likely boltons. but we tried it before when he has boost leak,i stayed on his fender, and he said "is that a hemi". bone stock srt-4 i could give them a challenge.

m3...im gonna call bullshit on that - even a stock e36 has 250 hp and will run high 13s low 14s all day long, with just headwork and vac system they are into supra(stock TT) territory. i know because my cousin has an e36, i raced him and was CRUSHED, those things pull hard.

excerpt from euro tuner.

"Everyone raved about the new M3 from the perfect suspension tuning to the beatifully crafted interior, and commented on how tastefully done the exterior ground effects were designed. Not to mention the car was fast! Upon Car and Driver’s testing the M3 shot to 60 in just 5.6 seconds, and ran the quarter mile in 14.3 at 98 mph (From the previous E30 M3 that’s an amazing 1.3 seconds quicker, and just shy of a second quicker in the quarter.), and keeping everyday drivablility and civility."

I can beleive it. I have a 91 Nissan Stanza(140 hp, 152 tq stock) with a CAI, header and 3" exhaust that beats M3s too. Not to mention LS integras, and B16 Civics.

My fiance' and I have bought but not yet received a JDM H22 w/ auto tranny to put in her 92 Integra. I hope it isn't too big of a project for me. The wiring I see can be intimidating.

excerpt from C&D 1998
"The VTEC engine hustles the Prelude from 0 to 60 mph in about 7 seconds, and is capable of 140 mph, assuming you can find a proper place for this kind of exercise."

"M3 shot to 60 in just 5.6 seconds"
"the Prelude from 0 to 60 mph in about 7 seconds" (mind you this was a 5 speed)

1.4 sec difference..lucky? riiiight

Two things. One, I just want an idea of what to expect from putting the H22 Auto in a Integra that is 3-400 pounds lighter.

The other, the M3 I beat probably wasn't really an M3. Also, we were on the interstate going about 75 mph, downshifting to 3rd and I went up to just over 130mph by my speedometer which with my tire size is pretty close to being correct.

LOL. First of all, what the hell is an SRT-4 ACR... oh wait, there isn't one. Second of all, I raced my buddies SRT-4 on the highway from a roll when he was only boosting 10 PSI (Stock is 13 i think) due to a leak. I have a 5 speed Prelude. He'd immediately pull a car or so on me and by the time 115 rolled around it was still the same. There's no way you're hanging with SRT's.

Possibly. More than likely. My Nissan with say, 150 or so hp should not have beaten it. He could have been just messing with me. Letting me stay in front. I moved to the other lane when I cleared the car I was passing so he could go by but didn't. We were both still increasing speed but he never got beside me.
What hp rating is the new mazda RX8? I beat one of those once. It has the 6 speed tranny.
