Default Air conditioning problem

My air conditioning works fine when its cool out. It also works if I turn it on after the car has been sitting in the garage, even if its slightly warm out. Then it works for awhile...blows nice and cold, but once it starts getting hot (about 10-15 mins of driving) it quits.

also, it seems to turn on and off with engine speed. If I hit vtec, it cuts off and won't come back on until the car sits in the shade and cools down??

I have already resoldered the circuit board in the climate control

any help is appreciated

you probably just need to re-charge your A/C fluid. u can pick up a charge kit at an auto store for about 30-50 bucks.

Yeah you might need a re-charge but does your car have R-12 in it?? If it does you will need a retro fit kit to do the re-charge. Or you can go somewhere and pay out the @ss for the R-12. You need to find out if you have enough charge in your system before you can really try to go any further with your a/c problem.
