97 prelude @ 3000rpm
I got a 97 lude every single time I get to 3000rpm on second gear it feels like its about to turn off. I have trouble starting it. I dont know if my timing is right. I just replaced my fuel pump. what happend was I was pulling out from first then to second when I hit vtec on second I was slipping on some sand on the road then my rpm guage was jumping all over the place.

Nope, I made a point of reference and adjusted it. If it made a pinging sound i retarded it if it made a knock noise I advanced it. I prob... Should bring it to a shop so they can use the timing light?

You should bring it to a shop for a rebuild.
