Its always been interesting for me to see these state of disaster these cars are in when they are being built......And then the work of art that the completed product is!
Thats got to be a 10sec car when the kinks are worked out and you have some seat time!

Tilton originally shipped me the wrong clutch plates, then they sent the right plates with the wrong spline count/diameter hubs. Every time I talked to them they were not very helpful, and I had to purchase the "correct" parts and ship the wrong parts back to them at my own expense and after an inspection they credited my account.
The last time I called them I had an expensive track day I wanted to get the drivetrain reassembled with the correct parts for and they would not ship overnight/3 day priority unless I paid for it despite their multiple mistakes. I started to get annoyed with them and eventually yelled at them and got most of my money back after they lectured me about how they do clutches for NASCAR and other domestics and my apparent ignorance about "what they do." I missed my track day and was out the money. I liked the design of their clutches and the fact they were a US company but they were arrogant and had poor customer support so I'll go somewhere else for all my clutch needs in the future.
It's bit of a read just to recommend another company than Tilton, just trying to inform you of my experience. Your mileage may vary.

I don't have experience with Competition, Quartermaster or Spec twin clutch/flyweels but my experience with Tilton really left a bad taste in my mouth. Their design is not really accomodating of the OE throw out bearing so it'd be best to spring for the $350 hydraulic release bearing in addition to the $1400 clutch/FW package. And depending on the "pedal feel" you expect from such a race-oriented clutch you might have to go to a smaller master cylinder to get the modulation you may want.

i cant say for sure if they helped or not because i never ran stock cams but i do think the Brian Crower cams did help. The head is mildly ported.
