5th Gen Cleaning IACV help
Tried to pull my IACV off today to clean it (following this thread: How To: Clean IAC Valve (smoothes out rough idle)
Says on that thread that I should have 2 hoses connected to my IACV.. I see none.
Here is a picture of my actual IACV:
Am I supposed to remove the 2 circled bolts?
Any help would rock

Re: 5th Gen Cleaning IACV help
Looks like the coolant lines have been looped at the thermostat housing already. You probably don't have any coolant lines going to the bottom of your throttle body either, when an un-modified car would.

Re: 5th Gen Cleaning IACV help
Interesting.. Is there any downside to having my coolant lines looped at the thermostat housing, or what does this mean in practical terms? I bought the car from the 2nd owner who was a younger guy maybe 21ish who did some bolt ons but didn't seem like anything serious. Should I be worried or check anything?
