I have a 91 Si that has the R134 conversion. The other day I hit a big puddle of water and about 15 mins later all my freon shot out of the system. Now my A/C just blows hot air and my cooling fan is not working at all. I checked all the fuses and the cooling fan fuse was blown, I replaced it but still niether of the fans are working under the hood. I do not know if there is a emergency release valve that opened and let the freon escape. My compressor isnt locked up either, it just doesnt engage when I turn on the A/C. Does any one have any clues to what might have happened to cause this? Every A/C shop I have been to says they would have to look at it and wouldnt help diagnose my problem. Thanks for any help.
