2k Honda Prelude issues
Hey guys I need some help. My 2k prelude base 2.2 the ignition control module went pffft in it. My buddy had a used one that was supposedly good. Put it in and hit the key and starter turned over like 1-2 secs and lost all electrical power. No dash lights, no headlights, no hazard lights, no gauge lights, no interior lights, no radio, no clock, no power locks. Underhood fuses are all fine I took each one out and checked it with a multimeter each fuses had less than 5 ohms resistance and I double checked them with a test light as well. Under dash fuses are ok too. I have power coming into the ignition on the white wire but when key is on no lights etc. I cant really check the under dash fuses right now again cause of this stupid hurricane. I have power at the alternator and starter as well. Also both input lines to the under hood fuse block test out ok with the test light. What next? I think check ignition switch with it on and on acc. Why would something kill the power to like for example the interior light which is independent of the key. Any thoughts? Any help would greatly be appreciated!!!!!!
