Haha right. She strongly dislikes Preludes. She's always been a Honda chick, and she's happier than a pig in **** that I bought a hatch. Also, she'll never part ways with her Mazda 3.

Well, fingers crossed, everybody! There's a guy coming this evening to look at the car! He's got a long history in Preludes and I've got a feeling this will be a smooth transaction! Wish me luck!

Sooooo, Prelude guy totally ghosted me. He was supposed to show up around 10am on Saturday, heard nothing...still haven't heard anything. Just my luck. When I first posted the car to Craigslist, a guy contacted me saying he wanted the car but he didn't "get paid until 2/28". Of course I brushed him off, because lets face it, that's what they all say! But over this whole fiasco of trying to sell the car, he has been the only person that has remained consistent and now that it's 2/26, he keeps saying that he's coming to get it Wednesday. Fingers crossed, but until I have cash in hand, I'm not believing any of these clowns!

Exactly as I'd hoped, the OG from Craigslist showed up (albeit, a little late) with cash in hand. He and his mom drove the car around the neighborhood, loved it and paid me. The whole deal was done in under a half hour. We had already agreed on 2k, but he tried to get me to accept 1900. Sorry, bro. I've got to recoup at least SOME of the money I spent. So she's gone! Overall, I'm pretty sure I lost about $200-250 on this deal, but I'll just chalk it up as a learning experience. Here's what I've learned:
1) I'm not a Prelude guy anymore. I thought I was, but I'm not.
2) Used Prelude parts are 2329382984729473x harder to find than civic parts. I wish I had been able to source more used parts so I didn't end up spending so much in the end. Maybe I would have ended up in the Black as opposed to the Red.
3) Aftermarket Pelude Parts are overpriced.
4) The M2F4 trans is a ************ to remove/reinstall.
That is all, kids. Good night.

Lol, I didn't read the thread yet, but had to laugh a little and share the recognition; My gamertag used to be LiterO'Cola back in Counterstrike days. Can't wait for 2 to come out!
