It cost me around $250 at autozone. Ive been told that I could just unplug my battery and let it reset (check engine light), but that my gas mileage and such would suffer a little. I love my Ludie and want it running straight and right, not half ***. Is it true about it effecting my car like that? Or should I just got and get my refund? Thanks
The oem oxygen sensor is only $40 from sparkplugs.com , I'd return the one you bought. It's a good idea to replace the primary sensor if it's got a lot of miles on it.

Ive been told that the "Universal" ones dont really work well and I would need to splice wires and crap. The OEM, is it the same thing as the Universal?
OEM= original equipment manufacture, as in that's the sensor that came in the vehicle from the factory. No splicing. NGK is the one you want from sparkplugs.com .

Cool thanks, I looked up the Bosch part # on there and it was waaaaay less expensive- $95!! The NGK one is even MORE less expesive, thanks so much I really appreciate it. Last question- im not sacrificing quality by going with the less expensive NGK over the the more expensive Bosch sensor?

Well consider yourself lucky. The owner of http://www.oxygensensors.com told me he quit selling them, because EVERY SINGLE one he sold to a Honda or Toyota owner ended up coming back defective. He does'nt recommend, nor will he sell any Bosch O2 sensors from now on.

Do you know of that was the universal ones that you splice the wires on or the plug & play sensors? I would bet a LOT of people mes up the wire splicing.
