The only thing I got out of that video is that you should have ripped that instructor a new ******* for that pass he pulled on you. I'm assuming the yellow jersey is an instructor right?
Could you have been a bit less aggressive and not grabbed a bunch of throttle going around the outside like that? Sure
Should you have even been in that position at your first track day? expletive no

Yes I posted this on Jennings, Asking about information on what i did wrong to avoid this in the future! They dont have much to say other then What I know, and that is You need to go slower to get faster and work on being more smooth!

First off, sorry about your crash. However, there are a couple of factors in your crash.
When you were trying to pass on the outside, you straightened the bike slightly then leaned it back down again... that will help to unstabilize your suspension, therefore giving your tires less grip.
Also, from the audio, it sounded like you let off the throttle slightly and then gave it some more throttle as you leaned back down to pass around the outside. Again, upset suspension and less tire grip.
'Course this is my opinion, but I'm pretty sure I'm right because I did the same exact thing, except it was at buttonwillow -- almost the same exact situation you were in too!
G'luck with the bike and the recovery and hopefully you'll be on the track again because you were blazing!
