steering dampner question

Re: steering dampner question (green98civic)
A steering damper is not really necessary if you don't ride hard or track the bike. If you get a tank slapper often, you might need one. The radius style is the best b/c the shock style have been known to brake on hard slappers. Scotts dampers are highly reccommended by a lot of riders.

if you need to ask you are very far from the point where one would be beneficial to your riding. Dampers won't save you from stupid or bad riding

Re: (EGlovr)
Then stabilize your front end and makes it a little harder to turn ur handle bars which is a good thing so ur front wheel don't hop around and ur more stable in coners and what not and also good for wheelieing less movement in the handle bars so u don't get tank slap...
its a good thing to buy and is worth the money if ur looking to get one look into to Scotts or i think the name of the other company is gps or grs something like that there just like scotts but if ur willing to spend the extra money go with a scotts ur looking at around $350 for a scotts damper but its well worth it...
