individual filters VS Air Box
on a bike that's not ram air, what would prob be better? individual air filters and no air box or running a plate filter with air box??? 900RR

From what I read, the plate filter + plenum helps to up the power in the midrange. You get better low engine speed velocity than with filters...which equals better response and power. It definately helps with smaller motors

on my old yzf 750r I had the individual filters and they sucked *****. but it did sound like a car going into vtec.

If nothing else, the airbox should provide all 4 carbs with equal/same temp air - that will help when jetting the bike correctly.
Even if ya go with some nice flat slides, I'd prolly recommend gettin the airbox adaptors to run the airbox.
Call Sudco or Mike Velasco - lotsa experience there.
