Re: 2008 Ninja 250r (rochesterricer)
So I just did the first oil change on my bike. I went to the dealer that I got it from to buy all the parts etc. I got some chain lube and honda polish and stuff too. It cost me $51 for everything.
I get back home(this place is 1/2 hour away mind you) check the mail and I have two things in the mail from the dealer. A postcard telling me my license plate is in and I can pick it up anytime . And a Coupon for $10 off of any purchase of $50 or more

I recently got one, they're freaking impossible to find right now in So Cal. All the 08's are sold out and the waiting list is freaking long. From what I was told, only a few 09's will be available in late Nov, and more will roll in early next year. I bought mine from someone at almost 1/2 the price he paid for since the bike has some cosmetic damages on the left side.
It's a whole different experience coming from a 600RR track bike to a a 250R street bike. But so far, I like it. It's slightly higher than the old 250 and the engine is a bit more "hyper". It also has 17" rims, compare to 16" on the old one, so you can put a slightly bigger rear tire if you want more freeway stability. The bike gets like 50-65MPG highway.
