Light looks like about a foot and a half too high against the garage door.

wiring the solenoid isnt that hard

first thing, when you hit your highbeams before the conversion, did the low beam stay on or not?

if it did, then its easier to do than if it didnt

nope. I've seen the electrical diagram but, man, I'm not an EE

if you have experience, can you IM me? annularng on AIM.

they way I have it set up now, is high beam = power to xenons, that way I can turn them on after I've started up the bike. I don't have high beams though

I'll try to find my little picture I made up in paint on how to wire the lows and highs to the ballast and solenoid, it would be highly advisable to run the ballasts off relays

yay for paint!

the brown triangle with a line is a diode, which can be had from radio shack, it basically a one-way valve so electricity only flow thru it one direction

from the relay: red goes to the battery, black to chassis ground and yellow to the postive wire on the ballast, for signal, run both the low beam and high beam wire to the same spot so the relay gets signal either way

i knew about the diode part

that's about it. i've used relays before too, so i see how that's working...but, what about for a bike (r6) that turns off the low beams when you switch to high?

thats why you run both the low beam and high beam wires to the same place on the relay so it gets signal all the time
