Honda Pilot 2020 LX Transmission judder
Hello all,
I noticed my Honda Pilot 2020 LX (30K) has similar issues to service bulletin 17-014 and A20-029.
At speeds around 20-50 (most of the 40-ish MPH), car displays slightly jumping RPMs. RPMs jump 250-500 back and forth. Car drive feels like gaining speed and then slowing down, back and forth.
Pilot is used only for drive to/from work in a city. I believe transmission is not "abused" by normal driving to make it develop symptoms like that.
I brought vehicle to Honda repair shop and they recommended to flush transmission fluid. They said that because my vehicle is not listed under current bulletins it won't be covered by warranty. Is it normal? I am still under warranty period for transmission and was hoping that it will cover it. Is my Honda repair shop just avoiding dealing with Honda warranty?
Also, they ran diagnostic, but the only recommendation is flush. Nothing about TCM software - that is what Honda recommends for newer vehicles.
