Honda Odyssey 2001 Timing Belt adjuster lockbolt
My husband replaced the timing belt and the tensioner on our 2001 Honda Odyssey a month ago. The old tensioner did not have a lockbolt but as most vehicles have a lockbolt to secure the tensioner, he put one in.
So we're one month later, the car died, the timing belt walked off the top pulley and the belt shredded. My question is, should there have been a lock bolt in place, or is that the cause of the problem?
