Default High Performance Insight

I forgot to mention.

Do not make any design decisions on preconceived optimizations or performance without having examples and numbers to back up those decisions. Preoptimizations can kill your code base.

Default High Performance Insight

ISK8BMORE pretty much nailed it. The concept and design does resemble the Prius. But these high efficient hybrids are designed a certain way to create better air flow, increasing the gas mileage. If you take a look at the older Insights, you can see how it was designed, and any alteration to the body, rims, and particular size of the tried would change its efficiency.

My friend owns the older Honda Insight in a manual 5 speed. Its not fast at all but since he drives a 1,000 mile round trip to do business up north and visit friends twice a month, so getting close to 90 miles a gallon is really good.

90mpg? He wouldn't happen to be a hypermiler would he? What speed does he cruise at?
