Stumped with electrical issues
I have a 2012 Fit sport. I’ve replaced a bad battery twice. Alternator has been load tested and is ok. Checked ground connections. Major fuses are good and terminals are good. Battery light stays on and car will completely power down at 3000 rpm but starts back up when I drop speed. After a day or so the battery completely dies and won’t turn back over without a jump start.
Im stumped.

Re: Stumped with electrical issues
You should check the BCM or all the modules for dtc codes to help you start with the problem you are having. BCM may sometimes go a little weird.
You need to get a wire diagram for your vehicle and start with power and grounds for the generating circuit. This may take some time or may be a quick fix with experience.
After you see all the electrical circuits start the process of elimination with the problem you are having.

Re: Stumped with electrical issues
I’ve changed all relays. A friend told me to look into fusible links. I definitely don’t have time to do all that myself so I’m thinking of giving in and taking it to a shop
