How to correctly remove the "99 CRV Gen 1 Airbox?
After you remove the top 2 bolts on the intake airfilter box there's a rubber clip at the bottom, it's very hard to pull off the mount bracket which makes me wonder what is the correct method for getting it off, undo the bolts and take the whole lower bracket off?
If you can just pull it off am I supposed to be pulling it up or sideways?
When I took the airbox out last week only pulling upwards very hard would get it off the post and that also pulled the rubber bush off.
There is a narrow cutout on the airbox mount that attaches to the bracket post, not really enough to pull it off though and from past experience with airboxes they tend to crack quite easily at these rubber mount locations and then the fun starts..
