Is it worth it to get an engine diagnostic on a 1989 Honda Civic DX or is it too old to tell anythin
I am simply trying to figure out what's wrong with my car without playing a guessing game and wasting money. Everything else on the car is the same and runs ok except for the fact that I have a deceleration/power loss issue. I'll be driving any speed, highway or local and all of a sudden the car feels sluggish, engine light comes on and that's when I know I have to pull over because the battery and oil lights will follow and the car will be on but have no more will to go on. I got an oil change, replaced air filter, put in a fuel injector cleaner, it has nearly a full tank of gas. Fuel pump and fuel filter were changed 2 years ago, could they need to be replaced again? I stopped driving it a week ago b/c I couldn't depend on it, but now I need my car back. Any ideas or similar experience would be appreciated. Thanks!
