Default wierd-*** problem...

ok, totally at random, when i put my car in reverse, or somtimes just hit the brakes, my gas gauge drops and my car starts to idle low till it eventually kills, takes about 5 seconds to kill but if i throw it out of reverse, or let off the brakes, it goes back normal... i think it has something to do with the brake light wiring, the reverse light activation switch or whatever.. basicly, hitting the brakes, and or placing it in reverse cause it to ground out and die or somthin.

also once and a while when i start my car, usually right before the brake/reverse short happens, at night i see my dash's turn signal indicators lights are lit barely, both, and somtimes taping the brakes ones shut them off, when i see the signals like this my gas gauge also drops or sits at way below empty till i restart my car or whatever.

i replaced all my tail lights and checked the wiring by them, took apart the rear lights, everthing looked allgood.

can anyone diagnose this ****??
