ok so i am on my way to get gas today and i hit the brakes to stop and i notice my dome light comes on as well as my instrument lights and my clock dimmed light the headlights were on. so i get gas go home to check the problem out cant find anything. i looked for burnt shorted wires all over the car and came up with nothing. when you hit the brake pedal the dome light come on the guage cluster lights up as well as the front turn signal lights and the brake lights. i have no idea were to look anymore i have searched and searched my buddy had the same problem in his 4 door civic. does anyone know how to resolve this issue. the car is a 1994 integra ls no wiring has been done to the car latley and like i said there is no blow fuses or shorts in any of the wires.

 

bump this is getting old fast i have also noticed the brake lights stay on when the lights themself are on

 

Pull the cover off the inside of your trunk, the one that covers your tail light wiring and ceck all connections check them for corrosion as well. I had this happen minus the dome light thing to my DC and it was just a loose connection. GL

 

Check that you don't have a blown fuse I remember this happening to me and I had a blown fuse. Check your 7.5 backup fuse under your hood and check the fuses for the lights and accessories in your car. Also check the connections for your brake lights if that doesnt solve your problem.
