what the trick fior the steering rack washer ?
i heard that u can put a washer in the gear box of the steering rack to stop the play ...is this true ? some 1 enlightin me

Not sure about a washer, but that just sounds like a band-aid/kludge to fixing the problem correctly. There's the nut on the rack that you can turn, but that doesn't always work. You might want to check the wear on your tie rods (inner and outer) and replace them if necessary.
There's a part inside the rack, the rack end bushing, that can causing a knock/clunk. Read this thread and the one referenced inside it: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=776901
