90-91 CRX (DX)/Si/HF harnesses will not work. A 88-89 CRX (DX)/Si will not work either. You need HF harness

Depends. If it's an HF shell it you should be able to get away with an 88-91 hf or si harness. Dx only has two plugs at the shock tower si's/hfs have 3.

Whats the difference between an si and hf harness?

I know that the DXs have only two plugs at the shock tower and the Si's have 3. I'm almost positive the HF also has 3. What else is different?
