Default too agressive?

hey im only 15 1/2 and i was about to buy an 88 crx si w/ a b16 swap (that passed CA smog lol) and when i told him this was gonna be my first car, he said he couldnt reccomend me buying it. he said its really fast and strong and has a really aggressive clutch, and a new driver would have a tough time w/ it. it sounds believable to me, is it true?

Truthfully, it all depends on the person. Frankly, I wouldn't put it past you seriously injuring yourself or others with a car like that. Only speaking from experience.

Yeah. No 16 year old kid should have a 14 second car with a touchy clutch. It's a recipe for disaster. Go find a K Car

thats the way to go! i'm 17 and i had a 91 civic dx sitting in front of the house and it was missing the dizzy and exhaust manifold and my parents said you can have it if you fix it but you learn alot of stuff about the car and its better if you get a stock and build it yourself alot of expereience especially if your car is rusted

Make sure your mom buys it for you. That'll be the only way to go. Just like 70% of the guys in here.

yeah i agree with all the above.

you are only 16.... learn how to drive really well 1st and learn your basics about honda motors then when you get a decent swap like a b16 you'll appercaite it more and know how to take care of it.

it's all about the journey in getting there. I'm sure most would agree that if they had a b16crx right off the bat they would be different....... I know I would...

I would get it just be very very very careful.

16 year olds + a car is very danger I was 16 and was fucked up and lived through it so

my first car was a 91 STD 4 speed. Had it for about 3-4 years now have a swap go up as you get experience.
