Default sparkplugs white

i have put ngk platnums and bosch platnums and regular ngk plugs in my b18ls and they all turn white on the tips of the plug i was told it could be to hot of a spark or head gasket or to lean i was wondering if anyone knew any other reasons

running lean = too hot. it's much more dangerous than running too rich.

it kinda depends how white though too.. reading sparkplugs is more art than science. i think pictures would be the only way any of us could give you an answer that has any merit. check out this site.. http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/t...2.asp for more info.

if the side electrode hasnt been melted off, you cant be that lean
