Default Plugs are white now!!

2 days ago i changed my plugs from denso iridiums to the NGK 7 serie. Before my plugs were a tannish brown color and now with the ngk's gapped at .30 they are very white. Is there anyway to tell if my car is burning oil or running lean? Any other turbo LS guys out there having about the same problem?

Well should I try using the Iridiums again? Well the electrode is white and the plug base/threading is a black carbon colaration.

They should be brown on the tip and black towards the bottom. Did you ever hook up that inline pump?

if they are new plugs it takes a while for the color to set in. everytime i change plugs its always like that....a few days after the brown would start to come in.

or maybe my car is just stupid

Off the wall question.. Have you run any race gas? that will also turn them white.

If your running the FMU and stock injectors you have to run the inline. It is the only way you can get high enough fuel pressure for the FMU to feed the injectors. The low pressure 190 intank is not nearly enough without the inline to give you the amount of line pressure needed. I'd hook it up right away since chances are you are running lean.

im having the same problem with my plugs being white, and my VAFC is set to -26% across the board with a 255 and 440cc injectors. I cant figure it out.

It does knock at idle a bit, but i always thought it was valvetrain.
