if you shipped it ups to canada what you payed is brokerage fee's and taxes on the claimed value. the only way to not have to pay those fee's is to claim it as a gift or send it usps. sad to say but you wont be getting your $50 back.

good info on the wilwood M.C, so basically the larger bore makes for a shorter engagement but stiffer pedal? is that correct?

yeah, we went half on the brokerage fees with him. needless to say, canadian shipments will now go out usps.

Yep, you got it. Omni has a large bore Cluthc MC out also but it costs quite a bit more. I would trust wilwood over omni in this area. Its their speciality.
I just need to find out if the distance between the studs on the wilwood match Honda's.

the omni's had some real issues when they first came out, perhaps they've fixed them??
+1 on the thumbsup for paying half... nothing worse than ups or fedex brokerage and tax's!!

I think I may go the wilwood route since I will be making my own bracket. Are those the same operation style as Honda Clutch MC's, or are they reversed?

I've never seen a reverse master cylinder. Only normal MC that are reverse mounted. Slave cylinders are another story though. Some push some pull. I know innovative advertises you can use a honda or wilwood style MC with their adapter, so I would imagine they operate in the same manner.

A pull MC could possibly come in handy when converting a cable car. Could possibly mount it lower where there is more room, then connect below the pivot point on the pedal. I'm just imagining this in my head not looking at the car so I have no idea if that's even a possibility. But anyway, who's going to design one?

BTW I realized I didn't post any shots of my reservoir and I know a few people were talking about mounting location. So, here you go

And a few other shots from the install.

Pure luck, I found it in my random parts bin. If I remember correctly they were from a foot rest on a motorcycle. You can probably find something like it at any hardware store though.

I used this method several years ago and am not a fan of how the clutch pedal felt or how I had to zip tie the fuse box out of the way...

I went back to cable and made my own hasport style hydro clutch assembly/adaptor (based off of their H22->EF kit.)

..maybe I didn't have the angles right? The clutch felt very awkward and was really hard to push in for the first 1/3 of travel; and I'm not one to complain about clutch pedal effort.

Anyone else use this kit with an aggressive clutch? how does it feel?
