I've been using mine for about two weeks now daily driven. Although my clutch isn't really "aggressive" (stage 1 exedy) there was a significant difference in pedal effort over the stock clutch. It may have been magnified by the hasport cable to hydro setup though. With this setup the pedal feels much better than it did with the other setup. I was also able to bolt the fuse box back up without any issue.

Kyle: How is clearance under the dash for the duct hoses/wiring in there/etc? Are the pictures with your dash off or on? I'm also guessing you don't run the knee-killing metal panel under the dash either.

Anyone else use this kit with an aggressive clutch? how does it feel?
interesting. how was the angle of the master cylinder rod? i know it's been a few years ago for ya... perhaps it was binding. my crx pedal feels pretty stiff yet solid. however, i'm on a hyper single so i'm not really suprised.

i have tons of room.

remember its not in a EF.

I am running all the parts for the dash. everything fits. Its just the DA has tons more room then an ef.

OK, I can believe that after having both, lol. When you get the dash back on put up some pictures of that. I'm just needing some reference as to where things are in the picture. It just looks like it is above the duct that run to the drivers side vents.

i actually will prob have to. Where i have it mounted now isnt really any higher then the master. I don't feel good about that. I have a hole in the cowl from my wire tuck so i might as well. That way i know its higher then the master.

If anyone needs a reservoir for their hydro conversion I'm giving away, (not selling) the other reservoir I have left over. I bought a kit super cheap off a guy on ebay. It was for setting up 3 reservoirs and he already used one. I used another now there's one left. If I remember correctly its everything but the cap, cap gasket, and hose (couple bucks at pepboys). It has the filter/baffle, clamp, 4oz reservoir, and the little bracket its sitting on which is actually where the hose connects. I'd really like to see someone use it for the conversion but I guess if you really want you can lie and say that's what you're using it for, I have no way to tell. By the way its made by wilwood. I think they're like $40 for each one online.

Oh, I thought this was kind of funny. I ordered these for the conversion. I finally got them today. I'm sure glad I went a different route, they are tiny as hell. The pic on ebay was zoomed way in and made it look like they were normal size brake MC reservoirs for a motorcycle. It's smaller than a shot glass.

Think it'll be ok to run both the feed and inlet line through the same hole?

as long as the master cylinder's lower than the reservoir, it'll be fine.

If you mean motor mounts I'm using the Hasport EFB2 kit.

That's how I've been running my setup.

Mine is all done. I'm not too comfortable with the clutch mc flex up & down I was seeing, but I'm crossing my fingers that it'll be ok this way. Ideally another support upwards to mount near the glass would be the bomb, but I wasn't able to fab anything up due to some time constraints. Fully bled the line and the pedal's still stiff, but I'm using a 3 puck exedy. It's smoother though for sure. Haven't driven it yet. Finishing up a few little things first. Probably will tomorrow sometime.

be prepared to beat the hell out of that upper metal piece so your fittings can clear. and forget about the vent tubing for sure haha.

funny all that work and u can't see a thing

I was actually thinking about that when I was looking at mine on the table. I may add a bracket while its out. Has anyone else noticed the "flex"?

We'll see. I should be welding the washers on and reinstalling it here in a few days. I'm also using an ACT unsprung 4 puck race disc setup and Innovative SOHC hydro swap mounts.

i see. it's not so much flexing, it' the whole bracket assembly is pivoting with the pedal. i agree, another bracket up top would prevent this... perhaps a hook (like the battery tie downs) on that tab right above your feedline to the bracket may help? i don't really see any other way to brace it from pivoting.

Cross your fingers all you want but it looks like you should take the whole assembly out and do some welding.

I hope that flexing doesnt lead to troubles. I bet you could drop some metal from that firewall stud down to the mc lower bolt and prehaps beef it up that way.
