SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY BRAKES?
So here is the quick story, its a 91 hatch, b18a1, when I bought the car the guy had put bigger brakes on the front and they worked great! Now when I accelerate they pull to the right, when I'm cruising steady it feels shaky like something is rubbing, then when I brake it pulls to the right pretty bad. Do I need new calipers? How do I tell if they are not releasing all the way or find out what is causing this. Worst of all, I can't remeber what specifically he said the brake setup was off of. Some kind of acura, pretty sure an integra. So here are pics, can anyone identify these and give me a little guidance in figuring this out? Thanks everyone!

Re: SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY BRAKES?
Check your tires, aligments, and those studs are too long for your car....
You already got your wheel off the ground, spin the wheel to see if it spins freely(N).
Look like you could need a new set of brakes and turn your rotors.

Re: SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY BRAKES?
well if the cars pulling on the right side then you should probably look at the passenger side not the driver side brakes lol
i suspect that one or both of the slides is frozen in the caliper. take the caliper off and see if they move. if not then you may have to try and break it loose with a hammer and maybe some wd40 or pb blaster. when my caliper froze up on me i had to use an oxy acetylene torch to heat it cherry red and then break the damn thing loose. hopefully it doesn't come to that for you.
also, check the rotor surface for flatness. if it's all muffed up then either replace or turn the rotors and install some new pads.
oh, and if i had to guess i'd imagine those knuckles/brakes are from a da integra. could be wrong though so maybe someone else can verify.

Re: SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY BRAKES?
The lugs are buddy club extended lugs. I don't care for them and don't need them, they are for running slicks on the front which i dont care to do. I appreciate the helpful input. The pics are from when I happened to have tires off, that is why it is of the drivers side but thanks for the critique! I'm about to put a new set of tires on so I will know if that's the issue but unless these tires are terrible, I've never had tires have this much sway before. I'll keep working at it.

Got new rims and tires, it helped a little bit?? It is still feeling like it's rubbing off and on still. Should I just get new caipers or does it sound like I need new rotors as well? Thanks!

Re: SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY BRAKES?
Maybe try the brake lines to the caliper first. I had one caliper on my old firebird grabbing pretty much all the time, turned out the line was worn out and the fluid couldn't escape the caliper.

Make sure the caliper slider bolts are lubed well and move freely. They have the ribbed rubber covers. Had the same prob with integra brakes on the front of my crx
