Rex Project
Well i recently traded my integra project for a CRX project. I have wanted a rex for a long time now but i finally got one and my mind kinda went blank.. Well the car has a LS swap, DC headers and some KYB struts with some kind of springs idk which but i could use alittle insite as what to do next... I plan on using the car as a DD but also some weekend fun and the ATL motor speedway and a few other events that are coming up(Import Showdown) and also the budget is about $300 per week (thats not how much i make mind you but i cant devote the entire pay check to my project). So any ideas would be greatly appreciated and i will post some pics since i know you will ask..

Re: Rex Project
okay i have a quick question its a noob question but what the hell im going to ask anyways....
Okay i have an LS swap and im looking to put an exaust system on so i was thinking that i would need an integra exhaust then some common sense kicked in and i was like an integra exhaust system wouldnt fit... so do i need to have one fabricated or will a crx exhaust work from the point of the headers on back to the rear or the car??

Re: Rex Project
you would need an ls header then from there you would pry wanna just go custom exhaust it will be a lot cheaper and probably come with a warranty if you break any of those exhaust hangers after you drop it

Re: Rex Project
I have a B20 swap in mine with a GSR head. I went to the local exhaust shop and told him I wanted 3" all the way through but didnt want it to sound "ricey" or like a pissed off bee, so he did a 3" glasspack with a magnaflow cat. It sounds really good. When he first told me I was pissed because ive heard glass pack before and a lot of the time they sound like hell. But this set up gives it amazing tone. At low cruising rpms it doesnt sound like much of anything but as soon as I give it some gas it sounds mean as hell. And when vtech cracks it roars.. Just thought I would throw that at you so you could have something else to think about as far as exhaust

Re: Rex Project
yes thats mainly what im looking for a nice sounding exhaust that doesnt sound like a sup'd up go cart or a big hornets nest... around here alot of people have them bumble bee exhaust and for some reason they think it sounds sexy...
