Rear speaker installs
If anyone has the factory rear speakers (still with factory speakers, wiring, grills, etc.), please post pics. I took my car to Car Toys to have my rear pods and speakers installed and they swore up and down that those pods will not fit, and if they made it fit it would look stupid because the rear speakers are not supposed to aim at the window (all this from a "Honda Master tech" as he called himself. I have factory Honda speaker grills that I want to use over the rear speakers once they are installed. I have not found any speakers that they fit on as yet, so I need ideas on how to hold them down on top of the speaker. They fit over the speaker with no problems, but are not able to be held down. Is there some type of sticky stuff that is plyable and will hold the grills tightly? Something similar to that black stuff that holds the plastic on the inside of the doors???

Re: Rear speaker installs (johnclaunch)
what kind of honda is that?! On my CRX I put pioneer 6 1/2" 2-ways in there underneathe the stock locations, no problem....that installer is smoking crack. Believe me, I see these cars all day long (I work at Circuit City in Car Audio). shallow 61/2's will work fine.
