Default Prop Valve leak

I have a 4040 prop valve that I recently found is missing a small round rubber part. I don't have pictures yet and was hoping someone would know what I'm talking about.

my question is, is this something I can get at the dealer and replace or would I have to replace the whole prop valve?

i was in the same boat, i bought a 4040 valve from some dude on here, and it started leaking after 3 months. i paid 130 for a new one at honda, but that is with my discount. buy a new one and you will be fine.

looks like a diaphragm? would I be able to replace it with a new one? The last thing I want to do is replace the prop valve.

huh, ive never seen one of those leak or even come off.

interesting tho.... if you say its a diaphragm of sorts, then it would act as a pressure relief.... and its obviously only on one side. interesting.

i have a spare prop valve in pieces if you want me to pop it off, if its even reusable.

but hell no, that small little thing aint going to be dealer servicable. probably best just find a new 4040. theyre not expensive. PM nikitad
