odd mini me question
so my friend is doing a d16a6 with a z6 head mini me swap and he was curious, instead of using the y8 or z6 head gasket if he could use the a6 gasket and well i wasent sure.
i told him he probably could being as everything lines up when in comparrision to the z6 head gasket but i told him to wait while i find out. if anyone knows that would be great!

Re: odd mini me question
yeah he can, but i think the original A6 gasket was a fiber gasket, where the y8 or z6 were both metal. I dont know if they still sell the Fiber A6 gasket as i think they had a recall on it at some point, so the OEM gasket from honda for the A6 may now be metal also. Either way, the best head gasket to use is a y8 2 layer metal headgasket. It will give him the highest compression.
