O2 sensor problem? or a good thing.
alrighty so before i put my dc header on. i wanted to see if i get a code [engine light] when i unplug the o2 sensor. so i did and no codes...
i have a single wire o2 sensor on a stock exhaust manifold. when i unplugged it on a cold motor and checked for codes and nothing. had it idle on regular running temp and nothing. finally i drove around the block and for 2 days now i still havent gotten a code for my o2.
so i thought that somethings wrong with my engine light. so i unplugged my tps and i got a code on that. but not the o2.
so i decide to put the dc header with the o2 bong plugged in instead of having an o2. still no code.
heres my setup:
jdm dohc zc.
intake.
dc sport header.
dc sport cat back exhaust.
jdm pm7 ecu.
now is it a good thing that im not getting a code or will i eventually get one?
