Default Noise when i turn.

I can figure out whats making the noise when i turn my wheels. Its like a loud clicking noise, I dont think its the cv joints but it may be? I was wondering if this is a common problem with EFs? And will anything break that could wreck me? Like my axle or something.lol.

I searched for this but couldnt find. FAQ had some things close to this put i figured id go ahead and get your guys opinion.

still could be your cv without the boot being ripped.... they are just bad...or could it be a loose rack?

Probably CV, because it doesnt have to be ripped to be the problem...does it happen in reverse as well?

the cv joint can click and the boot not be ripped, the bearings inside are shot i would guess, replace the axles, if it still clicks then i wouldnt know what to tell you without looking at it.

Yeah try to get rebuilt axle(s)...cheaper...
No point in just getting the CV only.
The clicking will last for a long time without major
damage occuring, just treat it gentle, maybe add some grease on in there.
Mines been clicking for probably over a month and I drive 300miles a week.
I can't confirm it's the CV joints but most likely it is weather you can see it or not by the sounds of it.
Is it clicking for both left and right turns?
Mine's only left.

replace the axles; even if that's not the problem now, it will be soon enough. my car feels brand new after i put in new axles, shocks, and tires.

you can find some pretty cheap on ebay.(not those reman ones, the ones people pulled off running cars) i got a pair for $60 including shipping and they've been fine for the past 3 months.

Make sure your spindal nuts are tight. If they are lose they can cause some clicking noise as well. Usually bad axels only click when turning in one direction

Lets clarify here, there is a difference between "popping" and "clicking"

My crx has a continual clicking noise when making a turn. My civic makes an occasional single "pop" when making and hard turn or hitting a depression.

Damn im in ruff shape...
