Default New pistons in my ZC question

A while ago i came across a magazine that was indicating that d15b7 could upgrade its power with first gen integra pistons(d16a1)

Right now i got a sohc non-vtec ZC, originally came from a carburetor car, i am running it with MPFI. Its burning oil, i already did the seals, but now i need to do the rings on it.

So while i tear it all apart i was thinking that new pistons with a bit of the power upgrade would be nice.

So would the d16a1 pistons work in SOHC ZC successfully?

and would i have to change the rods or i can use stock? May be there is anything else i need to change to make those pistons work?

Thanks

m-

the D16A1 pistons will work in the SOHC ZC using the stock rods - the 86-87 D16A1 pistons will give you compression ratio of about 10.5:1 - the 88-89 D16A1 pistons will give you compression ratio of about 10.8:1

so 88-89 is the way to go then, using stock ZC rods

woudl i experience any issues with the timing?
