New 90 CRX Si owner iso answers
Hey guys,
I did do a search but didn't have my luck addressing my issue.
So, I'm hoping you guys can help me resolve a few issues with my recently purchase 1990 CRX Si. It's does have a B16A swap, fr/rr sway bars, Springs (They're red-not sure what brand) w/Tokico Blue shocks, Strut braces fr/bk, front and rear camber kits.
My front suspension sounds like its bottoming out whenever I'm slowing turning into a parking lot or slow going over bumps/dips in the road. It rides great on the highway or at higher speeds. I thought it might be the upper control arm hitting the inner fender well. But I can see that the control arm has been ground down to allow clearance.
I'm suspecting that it may be the shock mounts. However, I don't want to waste money by guessing. I'm already having buyer's remorse. I wasn't looking for a project. Just wanted a clean, reliable, fuel efficient, cheap car for my daily commute.
Also, the interior cabin is almost deafening with squeaks and rattles coming for that rear hatch area. Any idea what could be the source?
I don't expect it to ride like a Lexus. I know its a 20+ yr old car. My main concern right now is the front end bottoming out. I'd appreciate any information or suggestion you guys may have. Thank you in advance.

Also, from what I've researched, It sound like possible bad struts. Could it be that the bump stops weren't installed in the front strut? I'm reaching now.
