getting new lower control arms is your best bet.
but i dont recommend anything aftermarket. theyre all **** or waste of money with one notable exception.
get OEM rear control arm replacements.

just curious as i also have a crx im looking at replacing the rear control arms and shocks on i was wondering why you don't recommend aftermarket products.. surely there must be a quality replacement part out there.

Factory rubber bushings seem to last fairly long. Skunk2, blackworks, megan, blox and others have bushings that are known to fail right away and not worth the time nor money.
Look into a quality product like Function 7, Voodoo 13 or something similar. Hardrace may be alright as well.

This is the best advice. F7 has worked for a lot of people from what I have seen.
The bushings in aftermarket LCA seem to tear or rot out immediately. The OE ones last 25 years and still get you home. I'd suggest picking some up at the junkyard and replacing with OE wear pieces.
