The yellow cable is you clutch cable line, the orange one is the your accelerator pedal. The speedometer cable is located under your intake arm held on by a 10mm bolt connected to the transmission.

If it is torn then it will not work but on the hole it depends since it is mechanical. Did your speedometer always work or did it recently start to malfunction?

Speedo cable is in the middle between your intake manifold and the underhood fuse box, on the transmission. Right next to a mount. Held on by a 10mm bolt, take the c clip off to get the cable out. Don't lose the clip, you'll need it

if you pull out the cable and reinstall it it will not do any harm. what you can do it take it out of the tranny and put a drilll on it and see if that makes your speedo move. if not your cable could be broken. if it does spin then the vss gear could be broken.

i just had mine break, pull the actual cable out and check behind the clusterf, see if you got everything out. btw if you get a replacement from advanced auto you gotta replace the whole thing, cover and all. the new one is longer than the oem one so you cant just change the actual cable. automatics are longer too

Have you shipped out your cluster yet? I told you once I receive it, I'll be sending mine out. I delayed leaving until this weekend just so I can make sure I receive/ship the clusters.

the vss hole is also a good way to fill up the tranny without needing a squeeze bottle.

Jesus Christ man, this is ridiculous. I've put off leaving twice now waiting for you...

This is why I don't deal with shipping.
