Re: My Hatch Build
GREATEST UPDATE TO DATE
got my car running finally after completing the mpfi swap super happy about that. took WAY to long because i havnt had time and ive had alot of stuff going on in my personal life and stuff. i missed this car so much i forgot how much nicer it is then my sedan (which i still love) but the power gain is awsome from what i can tell right off the bat. now i jus have to get my new fuel pump and gas tank installed so i can put more then 3 dollars in the tank at a time. hopfully i can post more updates then i have before i want to do alot more work on this car before winter

Re: My Hatch Build
It has been a ridiculously long time since ive posted but i havnt really had much time or ne money at all to really put into my poor car. i lost my job about 2 months ago so i had been working at a low paying plastic factory so i couldnt even pay bills let alone work on my hatch, but now i got a great job welding dumpsters for a company call Poynette Iron Works. ita great cuz now i learned how to weld so thatll help me do jobs down the line for future projects. i sold my sedan about 2 weeks ago got 50 more dollars then i paid for it and i got another si tranny as part of the deal. i say thats a sweet deal for me so i was able to get my z6 head from the machine shop fully rebuilt except for cams which i will get eventually. i started doing the fuel tank swap and i got a littly stuck trying to get the metal ring that hold the float for the gas gauge inplace and seals it up to go in to place because it sticks up to high. ill get it figured out and try to get pics posted as soon as i get batteries for my camera. but if anyone has suggestions or has replaced the tank in there ef and has info for me thatd be great. I also put in my aftermarket projector headlight but i still have to do the restoration of the lenses which ill post pics when i get it done. pics will come asap
