Wow man, I am not one to say anything negative to people. Most of the time, if I don't like something, I just keep it moving. You sir, are killing me!

I have been building/working on Civic/Crx's for about 11 yrs now. Most of it I learned right here or just reading in general. You have to do your research!!! There is nothing you can do to this car that has not already been done! Now I know I am wasting my time because I don't think you have read half the stuff people are saying to you.

It's your car and do what you please. But for the love of god, read up!

I'll leave this here for you:

I do read what people write, don't get confused. It's a learning process. I was a little stupid when I started this project, but I've gotten a lot better with it.

Edit:

injector resistor box came in. But my car isn't cranking so I'm having issues. Can't figure out why it wont crank. Bypassed the clutch safety switch (I had to, the plugs didnt match up.) and used a known battery.

Took the starter out, threw it in my friends b series, and it started up just fine.

Put it back in, it wont. Bad ground maybe?

No crank fuel or spark upon trying to start the car.

I might have one last solution. There were 3 wires that ran to my ignition system when I got it, that werent part of the plug. Those might be the spark, dizzy, and ignition wires since i have neither of the 3 now.

I'm so confused. I really have no idea how to ****ing fix this.

check the color of the original wires and then go into a diagram of your car in find them in it. Might be straight up or have doubles of that color wires which will makes it a lot easier then playn the guessing game. Might take a bit looking into but worth it when you hear your project finally start! Will be worth it all

Besides at the end of the day it comes down to personal preference. if I'd rather be riding around in something I ****ed up, its better that way.

Yeah I do. I went outside today and fiddled with it. It turned out the wires were wired properly (Thank god -.-), but it was actually the engine ground that was causing a problem!

So I fixed that, the car has crank and spark.

The problem? I don't have fuel. I put the main relay in, but I think it has some grounding issues. Even when grounded, it doesnt click. I'm almost positive the relay is good, I just have to go through and look at all the grounds. The plug on the fuel pump was in, and the connecting plug right outside that was plugged in. I was thinking of feeding the fuel pump straight power to see if it works... but the main relay isnt even clicking so I'm thinking of starting with that.

Thoughts?

there is another fuse that controls the fuel pump. I don't know too much about it though

You should have a ground from the tranny to the chassis, a ground from the valve cover to the chassis, and a ground from the wiring harness to the thermostat housing (this one is important as it grounds the ecu and other important things).

Have you checked at the fuel filter to see if you're getting fuel pressure at all? or do you not hear the fuel pump prime when turning the key to the "on" position?

Didnt ground the tranny yet (whoops, i'll fix that). I have a ground on the valve cover (gonna up the wire gauge though), I believe both grounds are on the thermo housing, but I'd have to check.

I'm not sure how to check if I'm getting fuel pressure, but it doesn't prime when turned to "on".

On a better note I got the alternator in today. Just need to grab the belt for it and I'm good.

Easiest way to check for fuel pressure is to loosen the small "bleeder" bolt on the fuel filter. It should **** out all over the place if you have fuel pressure (or you could do it with a rag over it to keep it from going everywhere).

I have gas in the car. I threw 2 gallons in and my fuel gauge is reading 1/2 a tank.

Alright, I'll do that later.

First i'm going to run through the system, see if everything is grounded. I know atleast one ground isn't connected, which might be the cause of this **** -.-

Temperamental?

Oh very sensitive (i went on dictionary.com, i've never heard that word before! thanks!)

I'll do the grounds tommorow, and see if I can pop these babies in.

Got both of them for $160. slotted/drilled break rotors, with the wheel hub bearings.

Picking up the new break calipers for the GS-R spindles tommorow.

Also got two moving violations today, which I have to go fight in RHODE ISLAND... in may.

Places where overtaking prohibited and Clearance for overtaking.

Dowel pins are fused to the spindles (i think anyway).

I've been trying to pull the passenger side one for awhile.

we'll see if it can be fixed. Meh

The only person who knows where i live on this forum has actually helped with the car and doesn't mind what i'm doing to it.

I popped out the passenger side spindle. The LCA (i believe) popped out after a lot of work, so I went to harbor freight and picked up one of these:

It works wonders. After about 3-4 minutes of tugging and pulling it wasnt coming out, so I took a hammer and bashed the top support 3 times and it popped out. It made a loud noise -- like a gunshot. Scared the **** outta me.

Went to put the gs-r knuckles in and they didnt work. So I called up a shop to ask for a quote on pressing the bearings out and putting them into the 1990 civic's knuckles. Got quotes $100 for both.

Found a DIY guide i'm going to try to follow. Should be fun:

Edit:

Grounded the main relay properly. I have fuel going to the engine.

Now have fuel, crank, and spark. Not so sure on compression.

I think the timings off though. It would spritz a bit of fuel in every .5 seconds from the sound of it. Also only sounded like 3 cylinders were firing.
