Muffler
I am looking for an inexpensive muffler to have installed on my CRX. I have a ZC with a DC Sports 4-2-1 Header. I am planning on going with 2 1/4 pipe and just wanted some input on what kind of muffler to go with.
Thanks in advance for your replies!

Re: Muffler (eraser)
Thanks for the reply. That looks good! It also give me an idea of what I will be looking at. Any other suggestions?

Re: Muffler (eraser)
How does it sound eraser? I am looking for something a little more free flowing than stock, yet I would like to have twin stock tips coming out the rear of my car. I may try to find one with dual outlets and run stock appearing twin pipes out the rear.
I just dont want it to sound like a trumpet/angry bumble bee
Thanks
Steven

Re: Muffler (cbrman)
If you don't want an angry bumble bee you'd hate my set up. I have custom 2 1/4 inch pipe run to a high flow honda cat then to a single in/dual outlet flowmaster muffler from an F-Body camero/firebird. IT'S LOUD!!! But i love the way the duals look. Its cost me 250 plus 100 for the HF cat.

Re: Muffler
Would there be any benefit to have a 2 1/4 piping installed, but not mandrel bent, compared to the same setup but mandrel bent? Or would it just be a complete waste of money?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Muffler (cbrman)
its much more free flowing than stock...I think a new cat makes a big difference too...The sound is a little bit louder than stock at low rpms at high rpms its fine
Its loud at startup when its not warm...otherwise its a nice setup so far...

Re: Muffler (AbaZ)
mandrel bent tubing is good but its hard to find a muffler shop that has a mandrel bender If you can I would just buy exhaust piping from jcwhitney and have someone weld it together.
