First question: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=495644

Second question: No. The 92+ Civics use hydraulic transmissions, whereas the 88-91 are cable actuated.

I JUST TOLD YOU WHY. The later civics use a hydraulic system, the CRX tranny is cable. Please read my post completely next time.

I know you can convert a B series hydro tranny to work in cable tranny cars, but as for a cable D-series tranny going into a hydro car, I doubt it. It's not worth it.

And yes, it did answer your question.

D series. Trust me, it's not worth the effort. I don't even know if anyone has done it.

No what u need to do is go buy a damn hydrolic tranny from a 92-95 ex or si. Dont be a cheap *** and try to use a shitty *** cable tranny on a hydro car. there is no point. Hydro d series trannys are a dime a dozen. Also the cable trannys have more miles and are more prone to blowing up.
