how do i use stock speedo with b16 swap
i did a b16 swap on my hf. i don't want to use the electronical Vss. all i want to do is make my speedometer work. i just have the cable coming out of the firewall. what do i need to do for it to work.

Take the cable input out of the d trans and put it in the b trans. Then put your cable into it. And bang cable driven vss. VSS on our cars is in the cluster.

what do i stick the cable thats coming out of the firewall into. i obviously can't plug it into the electronical plug so what do i do? all i have is the cable coming out of the firewall and the electronic thing on the engine. i just want my speedo to work.

you have to get a mechanical vss for your tranny out of an integra with a cable tranny that's the only thing you can do

The VSS plugs into the tranny on top near the side mount and the cable from your firewall plugs into the vss. In my 90 and 91 CRXs w/ B16s I just took the stock VSS out of the stock tranny and removed the electric ones that came on my JDM B16 to just plug the stock vss into the JDM cable B series tranny.

have a B series cable tranny VSS...$50 shipped...
I'm sure you can find one here that's being sold for cheap too or did you try swapping the one from your D-series tranny?
